Evolis products now RoHS compliant

The joint presentation of Evolis/A3M in the head office in Cordoba of the importer in Spain was a great success

The great novelty this summer, the card printer Evolis Zenius, was presented by Angela Peltier-Cuma (Evolis Sales Manager in Spain) and Christophe Péraudeau (Marketing Manager of Evolis products) in an event that took place at the head office of A3M located in Cordoba last Friday, July 1st. A similar presentation took place the day before in a hotel in Madrid so that Evolis distributors from the north of Spain could attend the event, which was also offered by both A3M and Evolis.

With a completely new design, Evolis Zenius replaces the Tattoo printer and includes the following amazing characteristics:
 Edge-to-edge printing (no white borders).
 Improved print quality.
 High speed of 120 cards per hour and per side in full colour.
 Input and output hopper on the front of the Evolis printer.
 Ribbon Evolis HighTrust in cartridge form and with chip recognition.

The presentation of the new card printer, Zenius, will take place at the following location and times

Madrid, Thursday, June 30th, 2011, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Hotel Axor Barajas.
Córdoba, the presentation will take place at the head office of A3M on Friday, July 1st, 2011, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Afterwards, a presentation of RFID systems and turnstiles by A3M will take place from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
The attendees will receive a special price on a demo package of the new Evolis Zenius printer, as well as an additional discount of 5% on all A3M products during the month of July, 2011.

A3M responds to the growing market demand developping a read and write module for the Nisca C101 card printer.
Available as of november 2009, the module allows:
 MIFARE Standard and MIFARE DESFire contactless reading and writing, as well as all ISO 14443 A and B compliant cards.
 Smart cards ( contact chip cards ) reading and writing.

High versatility

Based on the renowned Omnikey 5321 encoder, adapted to perfectly fit the printer, the encoding module can be mounted on any Nisca C101 in just a few minutes ( basically two screws to take off and replace ). This job can be done on a new printer as well as on a used one. Thanks to that system, the delivery times get really shorter and maintenance operations are far easier.
The shots below show the encoder module with its USB connector to the PC, which is the one used to send the data to the card’s smart or Mifare chip. The printer’s USB connector is still used to send the print jobs as well as card positionning commands. A3M supplies the corresponding SDK free of charge when buying the printer.
