LGM5xxx is a 13.56Mhz MIFARE and DESFire RFID badge reader for access control systems

The LGM5xxx MIFARE card reader is easy to integrate and implement in an RFID access control system. It fits elegantly into your premises, protruding from the door frame or in a version embedded in technical boxes. Available in TCP/IP, Wiegand, C&D, RS232 or RS485 connection. Compatible with the MIFARE Ultralight® NFC chip ID badge, it can be deployed in installations using NFC technology for user identification.

LGM5600 Access control reader

A RFID reader with a neat design that will be discreetly integrated into its environment. The family of LGM5xxx access badge readers offers security and performance for reading and writing all 13.56Mhz badge technologies: NFC, MIFARE Ultralight ®, MIFARE ®, MIFARE DESFire ®, Icode.

ID badge reader versions

The LGM5xxx reader is available in the following configurations: LGM5600 MIFARE ® card reader, LM5600S MIFARE ® badge reader only USN serial number, LGM5100 MIFARE ® badge reader and Icode, LGM5500 dual frequency reader MIFARE ® + EM 125kHz.

Full MIFARE ® read write capacity

The LM5600 version only reads MIFARE® 4bytes or 7bytes unique serial number. The LGM5600 version is endowed with complete capacities of MIFARE badges’ reading and writing : serial number, sectors and blocks of the MIFARE® memory, management of MIFARE ® Keys A and Key B.

Advanced reader integration

A3M offers a complete and documented software development kit which allows integrators of access control systems to integrate the MIFARE LGM badge reader into their applications.

Outdoor badge reader installation

The LGM MIFARE ® badge reader with surface-type protective casing is available in IP65 version suitable for outdoor installation. It is therefore possible to have a fleet of visually homogeneous access control readers between the interior and exterior areas, which benefits from the large capacities offered by the LGM5600.

MIFARE® reader to be embedded

The A-type housing is intended to be installed flush and will offer discreet integration of access control readers, similar to that of an electrical switch. Its electronics in the back can fit into a standard technical box. An ideal RFID reader also to provide kiosks and vending machines with MIFARE® card reading.

RFID badge reader with relay output

LGM5620A-T-0C is the latest evolution of the LGM A3M access control reader. Quick reading of the RFID badge, TCP / IP connection which simplifies the wiring of the installations, relay output to provide direct control of the access control peripherals: electromagnetic locks, turnstiles, gates... An extremely efficient RFID badge reader.

NFC badge reader

LGM5620 is also optionally available in a NFC technology (Near Field Communication) badge reader version. True compatibility with NFC applications since it supports the P2P Peer-to-Peer protocol. You will therefore be able to develop your access control system with NFC badge and NFC smartphone applications that meet the modern accessibility standards expected by users.

Integration in access control systems

LGM5600 is a card reader recommended for integrating the reading of RFID cards in access control applications. Its multiple versions, options and connections make it an adequate reader in various sectors such as the tertiary, school, construction sites. A3M has developed software solutions for access control and time attendance that form plug-and-play vertical market solutions available to system integrators.
